A great night for Old Rivs at the LAL Awards

Representatives from Old Rivingtonians Open Age football teams and the club Committee attended Lancashire Amateur League's Presentation Dinner at Ewood Park on Thursday 18th May 2023.

The annual event recognises those teams, match day officials, clubs, coaches, and club officials who have made a difference over the course of the season in the LAL. It's also where cup and league winning teams receive their trophies.

The Presentation Dinner turned out to be a great night for Old Rivingtonians, with our Open Age Men Reserves picking up their league champions trophy, and our very own Club Secretary, Stewart Burke, being awarded the LAL Secretary of the Year!

These awards are testament to all of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes at Old Rivs, as we continue to promote and provide grassroots football to over 280 members, with teams ranging all the way from U6 to Open Age. It's been a 20+ year journey so far, and we're just getting started!
